about us

Associate Professor Sood is a senior staff specialist and Head of Hepatology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He is an academic Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, with experience managing a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver and endoscopic conditions. 

​

Special interests include autoimmune liver conditions, NASH and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Dr Sood also manages patients with rare liver diseases including Wilsons disease. He attends the RMH multidisciplinary porphyria clinic. 

​

He sees private patients at Melbourne Private Hospital & Alphington Medical Centre (Fairfield). 

​

Endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) are undertaken at RMH, Melbourne Private and Victorian Day Procedure Centre (Heidelberg)
